Every open contest is paid for up front. Here is how the money moves from your wallet to the winning developer.01
Top up your wallet
Add funds by card through Paystack. The processing fee is worked out and shown before you leave for checkout.02
Fund the contest
Paying for a contest moves its reward from your wallet into escrow, and the contest opens for entries.03
Guarantee it, if you like
A guaranteed contest can't be cancelled once it is paid, so developers know a winner will be paid. It can't be undone.04
Raise the reward
Increase the reward while the contest is taking entries to draw more developers. It can go up, never down.05
Cancel for a refund
A contest that isn't guaranteed can be cancelled while it is open or being judged. The escrowed reward goes back to your wallet, and unused wallet balance can be refunded to your bank, less a processing fee.06
